Recently, the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and the Department of Education of Shandong Province respectively announced the 2021 national and provincial college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship training programs (hereinafter referred to as “Daichuang Projects”). Innovative projects, 69 provincial-level large-scale innovation projects. Among them, three projects including High-performance flexible wearable breath detection sensor construction and performance research guided by teacher Zhang Dongzhi of our hospital have been approved as national large-scale projects. Nine projects such as the Research and Development of Parallel Measurement System for Appearance have been approved for provincial-level large-scale innovation projects, marking a new level of innovation and entrepreneurship for college students in our college.
After full cultivation in the early stage, in 2020, our college has established 26 large-scale projects. In May 2021, the college organized the first mid-term inspection of the project, which was carried out in terms of project implementation, project achievements, and research plans for the next stage of the project. After careful inspection, a large number of outstanding projects came to the fore and participated in the evaluation of provincial/national Daiso projects. In recent years, relying on undergraduates’ Three Entries, the Rising Star Program, and the cultivation of the three major competitions, our college has effectively strengthened the cultivation and selection of Daiso projects, continued to strengthen the training and practice of innovation and entrepreneurship of college students, and continuously strengthened students’ innovative spirit and entrepreneurship. Awareness and innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities have effectively promoted the in-depth development of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform.
As one of the construction projects of the Ministry of Education’s “Undergraduate Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Project in Higher Education”, the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program aims to promote the transformation of educational ideology, reform the talent training model, strengthen the training of innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, and enhance the education of college students. Innovative ability and entrepreneurial ability based on innovation, cultivate high-level innovative talents that meet the needs of building an innovative country. In recent years, the Ministry of Education and the competent departments of universities have attached great importance to the cultivation of Daiso Projects, continuously increased the amount of funding, optimized work procedures, and created a good foundation for college students to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship.
