In accordance with the spirit of the Ministry of Education's Implementation Opinions on the Construction of First-Class Undergraduate Courses (Jiaogao [2019] No. 8), in order to strengthen the construction and application of first-class undergraduate courses, and improve the high-level, innovative and challenging nature of the courses, the school decided to launch 2021 For the construction of the annual first-class undergraduate course cultivation project, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Course type
This first-class curriculum cultivation project includes four categories: online, offline, online and offline hybrid, and social practice. For the specific content requirements of the course types, please refer to the Implementation Opinions of the Ministry of Education on the Construction of First-class Undergraduate Courses and the Measures for Recommendation and Recognition of National First-class Undergraduate Courses of the Double Ten Thousand Plan (see Annex 1).
2. The scope of cultivation
Undergraduate courses that are included in the talent training program and set credits can be recommended, including ideological and political theory courses, public basic courses, professional basic courses, professional courses, general courses and other independent undergraduate theoretical courses, experimental courses and social practice courses.
3. Cultivation principles
1. Adhere to the overall plan, demonstrate and lead. Focus on the construction of new engineering and new liberal arts, rationally plan and arrange the types of courses, support the needs of national and provincial-level first-class professional construction, and demonstrate the overall improvement of the quality of course construction.
2. Persist in supporting the strong and special, highlighting advantages. Focus on supporting courses or characteristic courses that have established foundations and have achieved obvious teaching results, and highlight the advantages and characteristics of our school in the field of energy.
3. Insist on gender once, quality first. Always adhere to the construction orientation of improving high-level, highlighting innovation, and increasing the degree of challenge, set a new benchmark for curriculum construction, and improve the quality-oriented curriculum construction incentive mechanism.
Four, recommended requirements
1. The school allocates college recommended places according to factors such as the opening of the college, the number of majors (first-class majors), and the effectiveness of the previous course construction (see Annex 2).
2. In light of its own situation and the construction tasks of the Double Ten Thousand Plan of national first-class courses, each college reasonably plans the number of recommended courses for various courses, including no less than 2 mixed courses and no less than 1 social practice course. 3. The selected first-class courses in Shandong Province and the courses that have obtained the national recommendation qualification in 2021 are included in the scope of cultivation in principle, and do not account for the college's recommended places; if the course category is changed, it must be included in the college's recommended places.
4. With reference to the application requirements for the second batch of national first-class courses, the recommended courses of this training program must be constructed and improved at least two semesters or two teaching cycles before January 31, 2022. If the course team members have problems with teacher ethics and style, academic misconduct, major teaching accidents within five years, and ideological and scientific problems in the course content, a one-vote veto shall be implemented.
5. Cultivation courses are declared by individual teachers or teaching teams (the main members of the team are no more than 5), and the application is limited to 1 type of course. The course leader and the main members of the team can only participate in the application for 1 course, and they should implement teaching reforms in accordance with the requirements of first-class courses, and have clear course records in the educational administration system.
6. For the first-class online and offline hybrid courses, the declared course must be a hybrid teaching plan that has been reviewed and approved by the school’s demonstration school, and is arranged in the educational administration system when it is wired to school; it is encouraged to develop online courses based on the selected national online first-class courses. Five, work arrangements
1. College recommendation
Each college organizes teachers to actively declare, strictly in accordance with the implementation opinions of the Ministry of Education on the construction of first-class undergraduate courses, review the declared courses, and select and determine the new training recommended courses of the college according to the quota. After publicity (not less than 5 working days), none Recommend to the school after objection.
2. School audit
This first-class curriculum cultivation project implements a filing system, and the courses that meet the application requirements after review are included in the scope of cultivation, and the cultivation period is 1 year.
3. Course Management
(1) The curriculum is dynamically managed. All colleges should strengthen the management and follow-up guidance of courses, and check and guide courses no less than once every semester. Cancel the training qualifications for courses that do not meet the requirements of first-class curriculum construction, and carry out curriculum supplements.
(2) The school conducts regular inspections on the construction of cultivation projects, and projects that are progressing unfavorably will be terminated.
(3) In principle, the school selects the best from the courses listed in the cultivation project and recommends to participate in the third batch of first-class courses at or above the provincial level in 2022.
4. Material submission
Each teaching department (center) conducts in-depth discussions in accordance with the requirements of the notice. Please take the department (center) as the unit, and submit the First-class Undergraduate Course Cultivation Project Application Form (see Annex 3, only new training courses submitted) and The College’s First-Class Undergraduate Course Cultivation Project Application Recommendation Summary Form (see Annex 4, including courses that do not occupy the college’s quota) is submitted to the College’s Teaching Office.
